BitKeep黑客正通过SideShift和FixedFloat进行混币。黑客创建一份虚假事实，看了后再创建该程序。 黑客清空了BitKeep钱包后，骗子提取了Moloch钱包地址(0x68Bb7a57C35a6C35F9B908D4F9cD5F78CCD5FB…)的地址。此前消息，SideSenders.com遭遇攻击。6月20日晚，SideSea疑似遭到黑客攻击。7月6日，SideSea发布官方公告，称刚刚经历了一次51%攻击，黑客已将部分资产兑换为BitKeep虚拟代币，并已将部分资产窃走以完成向目标地址的交换。
