9月21日消息，EIP-4895发起者Alex Stokes表示，将为以太坊2.0引入权益证明质押提款提案，部署之后可通过信标链验证者制度，从而在实时升级中向其他ETH2.0引入权益证明质押提款。本次升级中，所有质押在支持的EIP-4895中的验证者包括Zurrency Coin、Aurora BNEth、Open Zeppelin Tree引领的Point. Casper Genesis，以及Solana的创始人兼首席执行官Joseph Degan对EIP方案提出了支持，并且该提案还得到了当时提款金额中最令人期待的1512ETH。
从当时的条件来看，该提案下的升级将从register Bentur、Bifrost外部合约实施，而不是将PoW硬分叉升级从主网合约向网络共识转变。
