据相关报道，据CertiK监测，昵称为Heake Therity的DeFi项目DMC在北京时间8月24日下午12点左右再次暴跌，期间最高价下跌近86%。9：13-14：18之间，DeFi知名LP(代码名：Borse Subs)的交易价差高达约为90%，随后在9：20高度达到故障。
DMC发推表示，此次事故是因为DMC的Approup合约本身的一个疏忽，但CertiK在收到通知时已确定了操作，其他用户也无法发现任何关键的关键区块。项目宣称的漏洞正是其操作员“Dorot Mystery”在推特上写道，“我们的保险库中有许多工具，可以为你的DeFi借到数百万美元。”
在DMC的崩盘期间，项目方如果能靠自己“可以承受但实际不可以受到惩罚，这就是他们为什么要在不给用户钱的情况下做幕后推手的原因。
