What is the use of A6 Miner (60T Miner)

What is the use of A6 Miner, what can A6 miners mine, in ordinary machines, the computing power is limited, but it can also be used for other purposes such as gaming, esports, or other types.

According to official introduction, A6 is a new type of Bitcoin-specific ASIC chip, it adopts the PoW+ proof-of-work consensus mechanism of Ethereum, and uses the latest SHA256 algorithm and microprocessor design; in contrast, BTC adopts PoW+ proof-of-work, while Ethereum uses Scrypt and Zcash as consensus mechanisms, but has no other functions. This new ASIC chip has higher security and lower power consumption.

60T Miner

Bitmain announced today that it has launched a 60T miner in cooperation with Antpool and CoinPrint.

It is understood that the Bitcoin halving time for the 60T miner is around 9:00 am on August 1st. With a total network computing power of approximately 130TH/s, it is expected to reach a production of 160T, equivalent to a total output value of 200 million RMB (about 30 million USD). Currently, the company is preparing for new 50T machines, which will be officially put into use in late June this year.

Previously reported, in November 2019, TSMC announced the completion of the first round of 40T chip deliveries. It is reported that this is one of the results of TSMC’s new product research and development since July last year. TSMC announced at the end of 2019 that it will complete the deployment of its first batch of 20t ASIC chips production before the end of the first quarter. (Wu Blockchain)
