When will ZEC be issued? According to official sources, the release date for Zcash is October 18th.
According to the whitepaper of zkSync, ZEC is the first fully decentralized currency market protocol and open financial application platform. ZEC, supported by the Zcash Foundation, is created and already being tested with mainstream digital assets such as Bitcoin and Litecoin as collateral. The initial presale has been completed and is expected to start in November.
Specifically, the first mainnet token ZEC will be transferred from Ethereum to Zcash, then transferred back to Zcash for destruction and deployment on etherscan for trading.

On January 28, 2021, the Blockchain Application Research Institute of Huobi China released an announcement regarding the issuance of tokens, specifying when and at what time the tokens will be issued.
This issuance will follow the method of “direct repurchase + staged purchase.” In other words, ordinary investors (such as retail investors) will first participate through the platform in the form of locked position issuance. Afterwards, the tokens held by the platform will be destroyed. According to the plan, 5 million tokens will be released in each batch for circulation in the market, while the remaining 2 million tokens will be traded freely on the public market without any management fees, and can only be sold when the platform has sufficient liquidity.
