In 2013, Satoshi Nakamoto created the first open-source software with cryptocurrency as its core under the leadership of cypherpunks. It created a new decentralized payment system and achieved instant settlement of peer-to-peer transactions through its distributed ledger and unique consensus mechanism.

Since then, Bitcoin has continued to develop, but as more and more people use blockchain technology for cross-border trade, purchasing goods, and various activities, this new digital asset has started to appear in the public eye.

Although this concept was originally proposed in an article titled “BitcoinIsMytime” in 2012, “I hope to bring together the greatest people in the world in a simple way,” the value of this technology was later proven to be non-existent due to the increasing demand for online privacy: “Bitcoin is completely anonymous electronic cash.”

“If an entity can control its own funds or anyone else’s belongings without being able to seize them, it will create trust issues,” Satoshi Nakamoto said on Twitter. “When you know that someone wants to send you dollars to your address, you can tell others that we have dollars in our wallet; if someone wants to transfer their dollars to another place, or you need an account to contact… That’s why everyone should do it.”

It was not until early 2014, less than a year after the birth of Bitcoin, that Satoshi Nakamoto revealed his own name-abbreviated as “the end of 2009.” At that time, Satoshi Nakamoto also claimed that he was just because he liked Bitcoin.

However, now that he has changed his identity and become a freelancer, no one knows him anymore!

Although Satoshi Nakamoto is still an individual not so enthusiastic about the idea of Bitcoin, he still chooses to move forward: he also adheres to his investment philosophy of the past ten years. He even believes, “Bitcoin is my time!”

Bitcoin is the earliest cryptocurrency to appear. It was originally launched by an anonymous person in 2009. Since then, it has been called “digital gold,” and its inventor is Satoshi Nakamoto, who extended the timeline by about 20 centuries.

Trading began at the end of 2014, and it was not officially launched until early 2013. On February 1, 2018, the price was 0.008 USD; at the beginning of April 2018, the price dropped to 0.00005 USD (equivalent to about 0.0013 USD at that time); it reached the legal minimum point in June 2019. After September 19, 2020, the price returned to normal levels, fluctuating between the opening and closing prices on December 18, 2019, but then fell back, with nearly 10% of prices remaining in negative territory as of the time of this article.
