On July 15th, the LPL Summer Finals will begin on July 17th Beijing time. This competition will be conducted in a group stage based on points, with the winners advancing to the elimination round and the losers competing again in a BO3 format! 【Event Rules】
1. The event is divided into two phases:
– Regular Season Phase: July 14th – July 20th. Group Stage Phase: July 21st – July 22nd.
2. Semi-finals: August 5th – August 13th. Finals: August 18th – August 24th.
3. The champion team will represent China in the National Championship (City Tournament) and obtain qualification for participation at the district level, as well as advance to the fifth position in the “S5” season’s Premier Cup.

The Limits of E-sports Broken! Shocking Start of the 2017 Professional League of Legends League! On August 28th, the LPL region will host the final finals. Among the eight participating teams, three teams from the LPL region will advance to the “S5” season’s Professional Cup after the competition, and two teams will enter the Grand Finals.
【Group Stage Phase】
September 3rd – October 12th: Top four teams from each group advance to the elimination round.
October 15th – October 22nd: Top six teams from each group advance to the loser’s bracket.
October 29th – November 6th: Top two teams from the winner’s bracket of each group advance to the winner’s bracket.
【Elimination Stage Phase】
September 30th – October 31st: Four groups in total, BO2 single-loop matches.
October 32nd – October 35th: Top three teams from each group advance to the playoffs.
October 36th – November 7th: Fourth place from each group advances to the semi-finals and finals.
【Finals Phase】
Late October/Early November: Main stage, all participating players will receive corresponding quantities of Champion’s Crest and Runner-up Crest based on rankings.
【Grand Finals Stage】
The player ranked first on the overall leaderboard advances to the grand finals.
The player ranked second advances to the grand finals.
Players ranked third to fifth enter the elimination stage and can advance to the grand finals through competition.
