Azure Lane guide: Essential guide to exploration and battles! (Unlock Azure Lane character illustrations and showcase your ship collection!) In the update on July 26th, Azure Lane will open a new chapter called “Sakura”, and also introduce a new gameplay feature – “Exploration and Battles”. The entrance to “Exploration and Battles” can be found in the bottom left corner of the game’s main interface, within the Illustrations system!

Clicking on it will redirect to the Illustrations system.

Clicking on “Fleet Formation” will allow you to view the formation of your fleet.

After unlocking “Exploration and Battles”, you can participate in “Formation Challenges” and if successful, you will receive abundant rewards such as “Swan Skin”, equipment, and characters!

Unlock Azure Lane character illustrations and showcase your ship collection!

In Azure Lane, players can cultivate characters by obtaining ships. After cultivating a character, you can unlock their corresponding character illustration. The more character illustrations you unlock, the stronger your ship collection becomes!

After unlocking the shipgirl illustrations, you can view all of your fleets and check the skills and equipment of each ship.

Clicking on “Ship” provides detailed information about the fleet, including its status and name.

Clicking on “Equipment” leads to the detailed equipment page of the fleet, where you can find information about equipment and drop details.

On the right side, select “Ship Type” (i.e. aircraft carriers) and click on “Formation” to view all ships in that formation.

Clicking on “Change Appearance” on the bottom left allows you to see the fleet’s alternative appearance, equipment, level, and other related content.

Unlocking requirement: Reach level 20.
