The Battle of Gods and Demons is a limited-time activity in the Journey to the West Online game, and players can participate once they reach level 30. In this gameplay, players need to kill the opposing players within the 15-minute time limit and cannot use healing items during the battles.

After the activity starts, the system will assign a battlefield for players. Each player in the battlefield will choose one leader from the 5 disciples of their respective camp. Each participant has their own profession and can freely switch their positions on the battlefield. By clicking on the activity button, players can view the rules of the challenge and join the matchmaking battles.

In the Battle of Gods and Demons gameplay, members of the heavenly alliance will play different roles and be divided into groups based on their alliance’s strength. Each battle zone can have a maximum of 5 participants, and a PK match will be held at regular intervals. The victorious camp at the end of the match will win the battle.

When players die during battles, they will enter a resurrection state and have a short waiting time to revive. During the resurrection, players can recover a small amount of HP and MP.

After entering the resurrection state, players will enter the countdown stage of the battle. When a team member dies, they will enter a 3-second preparation period in which they cannot take action but can still attack and use skills.

During the activity, participating players can choose one disciple from their own camp as a substitute. When the countdown begins, the disciple players can select any disciple as a substitute. If there are other disciples in the team, they will directly swap positions with the selected disciple.

If enemies escape, players will be automatically teleported to the enemy’s battlefield for support. If teammates are defeated, players will automatically return to the battlefield for support. In the battlefield, disciple players need to defeat all enemies within 10 seconds, otherwise, they will be randomly teleported to the location of another enemy unit for support.
