The “World Championship” officially came to a close after a week of intense competition. Sixteen teams from around the world will engage in a spectacular and fun-filled tournament.

This tournament will start on October 26th at 2:00 a.m. Beijing time and end on November 7th at 5:00 a.m. The “International Invitational” will take place from December 30th to January 3rd in North America, with DRX (RNG), G2, EDG, and C9 in Group A, and FPX, T1, and DK in Group B. The playoffs will begin in June 2019!

Starting today, the 20 teams from various competitive regions will compete in two rounds. The first week will consist of BO1 group stage matches, while the second week will include BO2 semifinals and elimination matches. The matches of the first week will follow the regular season format, while the matches of the second week will be single-game BO7 contests.

In this match, there will be four fixed time periods for battles. In this mode of combat, they will play three games, with the first team to win two games being the victor. The BO1 battles will be divided into upper and lower regions, bottom lane area, and jungle area, and the bottom lane area will determine the route based on the situation on the field.

There are a total of eight stages in the tournament, each lasting six minutes. At regular intervals, a new format stage will be opened within the game, and there will be a random match each match day. After the match starts, all participating teams will be given additional time, during which players cannot perform any actions. The winner of the match will win the game.

The final result of this match will determine the number of championship trophies for this season and the ranking of the S11 Global Finals (Note: The match cycle will be calculated based on the highest record points in the entire server).

In addition, the “League of Legends Pro League” (LOL) will also welcome the fourth month of the World Championship. This weekend, 15 top teams from different servers will enter the same starting line – from different competitive regions around the world. They will face the quarter-finals from various regions and one-fifth of the losing team – which means they will face two new challenges – offense and defense, and will also encounter strong enemies from the DK region, invading their KPL arena.
